FEED BARLEY

  • Suitable for sowing late April through to November
  • High yields across Southland and Canterbury
  • Suitable for cereal silage

  • Medium to stiff straw with low levels of brackling and low lodging risk.

  • Early to Intermediate maturity
  • Moderate straw strength, medium height

WINTER BARLEY

  • Highest yielding winter barley in FAR trials over past 2 years
  • Released in NZ 2017
  • Drilling time from late March through to mid May
  • Suits irrigation or areas with reliable summer moisture
  • Excellent disease profile with resistance to scald, leaf rust and mildew
  • Fungicide programme tailored around late season Ramularia control
  • Medium tall straw with medium strength

FEED WHEAT

  • New release in NZ this year
  • Slow development with fast maturity resulting in early harvest
  • Suited early March sowing through to June
  • Good disease profile, with good Septoria tolerance and excellent leaf rust resistance
  • Short stiff straw
